Lost Frequencies and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike win prizes at Spotify Wrapped 2024
They share the stage with international pop stars Taylor Swift and Sabrina Carpenter
Wednesday, December 4, 2024 – Today Spotify has unveiled its annual Wrapped campaign. Time to discover which artists, songs, albums and podcasts left an impression this year, both worldwide and in Belgium. Lost Frequencies takes home the awards of most listened to Belgian artist worldwide and most listened to Belgian album worldwide ('All Stand Together'). Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike released the most streamed Belgian track in Belgium and worldwide with 'Thank You (Not So Bad)'. 'Thank You (Not So Bad)' is also the most viral song by a Belgian artist worldwide.
With “Where Are You Now” and “Are You With Me”, Lost Frequencies became the first Belgian artist to reach 1 billion streams on Spotify with two tracks. With this achievement, he joined the exclusive 1 Billions club of tracks that have exceeded 1 billion streams on Spotify. It will therefore come as no surprise that Lost Frequencies has once again been named the most listened to Belgian artist worldwide this year. In total, the artist shines in the Top List of no fewer than 25 countries, including Belgium, the Netherlands, Switzerland and Austria.
His album “All Stand Together” is is also the most successful Belgian album worldwide. Partly thanks to the Netherlands, who voted the album the most beloved Belgian album (#14). With “Black Friday (pretty like the sun)”, which he made together with Tom Odell , Lost Frequencies is the only Belgian in the list of most listened to tracks in Belgium per day. During the measurement period, the song was voted the most played track by Belgian listeners for six days (including four consecutive days). Finally, in Wrapped 2024, Lost Frequencies is also voted the most exported Belgian artist.
