Max Colombie (Oscar and the Wolf) honors Glenn Martens' 10-year 'Y/Project' legacy as creative director, uniting with Kanye West, Charli XCX and many more as ambassadors for the Winter '24 Collection

Wednesday, March 13, 2024 – Max Colombie (Oscar and the Wolf) honors Glenn Martens' 10-year 'Y/Project' legacy as creative director, uniting with Kanye West, Charli XCX and many more as ambassadors for the Winter '24 Collection.

Max Colombie shares a personal connection with Glenn Martens, rooted in a friendship that blossomed one memorable night in Paris. "Glenn and I first crossed paths at a bar in the City of Light, where we found ourselves lost in conversation and celebration until the early hours. There's always been a mutual respect and admiration for each other's work and career paths. To me, Glenn is the Frank Ocean of the fashion world," Max reflects. The idea of collaborating has been a recurring theme in their discussions, each encounter fueling the desire to create something together. When Glenn reached out about a month ago, inviting Max to be a part of his 10-year anniversary celebration at Y/Project, it felt like the stars had aligned for their first official collaboration. Without hesitation, Max embraced the opportunity, marking a significant milestone in both their careers with this partnership.

About Oscar and the Wolf
Oscar and the Wolf, under his real name Max Colombie, has often referred to his music as "Disney music for adults." Since his 2014 debut with "Entity," Max has defied genre boundaries, seamlessly blending pop, R&B, EDM, and alternative elements into a unique and celebrated sound. His live performances are magnetic, combining striking visuals with raw, unfiltered emotion. Max's ability to explore both melancholy and euphoria has been a constant throughout his career, from the folk and dream pop of his debut album to the club-infused tracks of "Infinity" (2017) and the sun-soaked synth-pop of "The Shimmer" (2021). With a dedicated following and a presence at major festivals, including Pukkelpop and Tomorrowland, Max's influence extends beyond music, as he has crafted soundtracks for renowned fashion designer Dries Van Noten. In 2023, Oscar and the Wolf made a triumphant return, with their single "Warrior" chosen as the official song for the Belgian National team during the World Cup, delving into Max's personal journey to confront his deepest anxieties.
